Canucks Zine
Two illustrations for an artist run zine on the history of the Vancouver Canucks hockey club. Filled with illustrations, comics, and pieces of writing. All proceeds from this zine went to the Canucks for Kids Fund.
The first illustration (Pressure!) depicts Canucks captain Quinn Hughes holding Rogers’ Arena on his back, as if he were Atlas, holding up the weight of the world, illustrating the complete dependance this team seems to have on Hughes’ performance on ice. The second (Heavy Hitter) is a celebration of Canuck offenseman Kiefer Sherwood breaking the all time hits record in a single season.
